Saturday, October 16, 2010. THE BIRTH OF A SPEAKEASY. The Prohibition Act of 1920 in America. An attempt to ban booze in America, called Prohibition, was by most accounts, a failure. The 18th Amendment to the Constitution was eventually repealed in 1933. The movement was undertaken to reduce crime and corruption, improve health, solve social problems and reduce the tax burden created by prisons and poorhouses. When the House of Representatives accepted it a few months late.

Event design, decor and fashion styling. Monday, October 7, 2013. Chris and Chelsea were married September 14th, 2013. They have been partners for many years and were ready to make it official! The couple chose a vibrant color scheme of yellow, red, blue and brown. We made the flower bouquets and boutonnieres for their special day. For the bridesmaid bouquets we used blue hydrangea, tweedia, red ranunculus, cornflower, marigolds, dahlias, zinnias, and some rose hips accented with yellow waxflower.
